I am an environmental educator and program manager. Prior to joining SFS as a staff member in 2023, I worked at the Alliance for the Great Lakes, Shedd Aquarium, and the Chicago Children’s Museum where I designed and led experiential learning and field programs for learners of all ages.

I’ve been a certified diver for over 20 years. No matter if its mucking for clams in the Chesapeake Bay, kayaking with sea lions in the Sea of Cortez, mapping shipwrecks in Lake Erie, spotting seahorses in Palau, or just exploring the creeks and ponds in my hometown in Northeastern Ohio, I get in the water whenever I can! When I’m not in the water, I love playing board games, reading cookbooks, fussing with my vegetable garden, and talking about nonprofit management with anyone who will listen. I’m currently studying for a Masters in Nonprofit Management at the University of Chicago.
