Staff Profile

I am from the province of Sullana, located in the Ecuadorian dry forest ecosystem in northwestern Peru, so I enjoy exploring the wildlife of this region, especially the birds. I watch these “little friends” as an excuse to learn more about natural world and combine this knowledge with local cultural topics.

I have had the opportunity to work in ski resorts in Idaho and Maryland in the US while studying tourism and hotel management. I have worked in travel agencies and hotels, and I have volunteered at Inkaterra Guides Field Station in Tambopata in the Peruvian Amazon. Now, at the new SFS Center located in Tarapoto. I have many opportunities to learn a lot about the conservation projects that exist in this city. In addition, I am interested in anthropology, archaeology, and environmental interpretation.
